Earthbound giygas ness face1/7/2024 ![]() He has years more experience of using psychic powers than Ness. If I'm not mistaken, during the battle with Ninten. And surely knew those PSI attacks LONG before Ness knew them. Giygas has been getting powerful for a long time. Though I would say phrasing it "Ness copied Gigyas" sounds better than "Giygas copied Ness". And him using the same non-elemental attacks surely has some significance. They connect everyone who has them in a way. I mean, possibly to a degree, but the way people are saying it just sounds wrong. They're unstoppably connected since Ness is the chosen one.īut people are talking like Giygas spends his time having romantic thoughts of kissing all over Ness.Īll this "Giygas wants to be Ness" and "Giygas wants to be friends with Ness". Towards the end, I always got the impression that Pokey was in charge, and that he was essentially sitting on a pile of TNT - an omnipotent alien superbeing on the edge of ripping the universe apart - and doing his best to make sure it didn't go boom.Īs noted, I didn't really have a reason to believe this, it just seemed right. But it was also a confused and distorted copy of Ness, lashing out in fear and confusion. When the Machine lashed out with the expression of Ness, it was Giygas lashing out at the world for everything that had happened to him sure. The Nightmare Machine trapped Giygas, and generally kept him in a state of suspended animation. After Giygas went el senor loco, I like the idea that the only mind that could possibly contain Giygas and keep him from consuming and spreading across all time and space was. Giygas had put a part of himself in Ness's brain, hoping it would consume Ness. After all, who better to contain the mind of an insane god then the Chosen One? Though I really had no reason to believe it, it seemed like a nice reversal. Oh right, insanity aside, I always thought that Pokey had used a copy of Ness's mind in the making of the Nightmare Machine. Well, you better go wake up and defeat him. I don't even know! You've probably caused me brain damage!Įarth: Fortunately you won't remember any of this. I expect he's actually become insanely powerful, now with the power to time travel. Giygas: Gaaaaaaha! I HATE YOU ALL I HATE UMBRELLA TULIP MASERATI GRAHAHAH GARG. Ness: Oh my god, the waffles, oh the humanity! The plan leaves me speechless as well as I marvel at it's sublime structure. I'm going to use you and that connection to Giygas in your brain to pump that evil dude full of destructive psychic energy!Įarth: Yes, I know. Ness's face on the Nightmare Machine is evidence that the psychic propwash from the Magicant encounter imprinted parts of Ness's powers and personality onto Giygas.Ĭonsider this archival tape found recently in the Official Deep Underground Government Warehouse of the GovernmentĮarth: Hold on, Ness. Giygas was trying to create a clone of Ness using the Mani Mani statue, but only got so far as a face and PSI Rockin' a and B The face could merely be there for Giygas to show his minions who the enemy is. Giygas is trying to tell Ness he wants to be friends. Turning into a robot was certain death of the body, Giygas was showing Ness what he will never have again. Ness, being in a robotic body, really wasn't suppost to survive. Ness's face appears in his human form to mock Ness. You could even go as far with this as to say giygas entered the womb of Ness's mom when she was pregnant with Ness. Due to the constant traveling of time and space, it is possible there are multiple Giygas' Ness being one that (a good giygas) who has to destroy (a bad giygas) He became Ness, and his body was modeled after the human that defeated him, Ninten, hence the reason they look similar. After the battle with Ninten, Giygas went crazy and lost his mind and body, but deep down wanted to be among the humans, he wanted to feel the comfort he always felt. Here are some possible reasons Ness appears within Giygas.
